This one-of-a-kind brooch combines nature casting and hand fabrication in silver and gold. The branch was cast in silver in a single-use mold and covered in 24k gold "bark" using an ancient gold/silver fusing technique called Keum Bu. Each flower is hand cut and formed in fine silver with a colored sapphire set in 18k gold at each center. The "leaf" is a marquise cut rainbow moonstone set in 22k gold. Hand made pin stem sits along the back and is hidden when worn.
This piece has sold, but I would love to create a custom version inspired by the original for your with meaningful gemstones and flower imagery.
